Beth & Alex – Vibrant Ashridge House Wedding
Vibrant (adjective)
Full of energy, life, and enthusiasm; bold, expressive, and unmistakably alive.
Beth & Alex’s Ashridge House wedding ticked the vibrant box on every front.
The colour and energy of the day were led by the florals, created by Philo Flowers — someone the mother of the bride knew well — the colour and relaxed styling was just beautiful and Beth followed this through with the gorgeous array of bridesmaids dresses. Beth wore a beautiful gown by What Alice Wore, effortlessly elegant and perfectly suited to the relaxed, joyful feel of the day. The ceremony was conducted by the bride’s brother (we shot their church vows the day before).
Speeches delivered more surprises too, including an impromptu rap from the mother of the bride that brought the room down.
And then there was the music. The Function Band — who we genuinely cannot say enough good things about. These guys bring the party every single time, and when you have a crowd this willing, the vibe becomes completely electric. The first dance was a brilliant take on the closing credits from Hitch — and from that point on, it was honestly hard to keep the cameras steady because we were laughing so much. Just the best day.
Beth & Alex aren’t a showy, PDA-heavy couple — but they trusted us completely. So when the sun was setting we grabbed them from the dance floor and they happily raced with us, drinks in hand, to catch a few final silhouettes.
Here is the trailer of the day and just a small selection of their wedding photography gallery.
