Amy & Tom – Ashridge House Wedding
Amy and Tom’s elegant June wedding at Ashridge House was such a pleasure to capture. They were an absolute dream to work with. From the outset, they were clear and thoughtful about what they wanted from their wedding photography and film — the moments that mattered to them, the balance between documentary and direction, and how they hoped the day would feel when they looked back on it. They made a point of building time into the day to ensure we captured exactly what they wanted — some couples prefer a purely documentary approach, while others value gentle direction to make the most of the light, the setting, and everything Ashridge House offers.
Amy wore the most stunning Pronovias wedding dress, transformed throughout the day with a beautifully detailed overskirt that added drama and movement for the ceremony, before revealing a sleeker silhouette later on. It was a perfect reflection of the day itself — refined, thoughtful, and quietly striking.
Florals by Fool Flowers were absolutely stunning throughout every space AND sustainable becuase they specialise in using faux, dried and preserved flowers. Adie Brooks created a polished, modern hair and makeup look that still felt timeless. As daylight faded, the atmosphere shifted seamlessly into evening celebrations, culminating in spectacular fireworks by Electrify Pyrotechnics, lighting up the gardens and closing the day on a high.
