Aerial footage gives a totally unique perspective to your location – there is something truly beautiful about capturing a bird’s-eye view and allowing you to experience your story on an epic and often breathtaking scale.

For those of you who want to be able to see and touch your wedding memories you can choose to have high-quality loose prints, mounted prints, print boxes and beautiful frames of your favourite images and we can organise beautiful fine art thank you cards following your wedding day too.
For wedding albums we have chosen to work with Queensberry – their stunning luxury albums are made in New Zealand and are recognised as being the best in the world for wedding photography.
They offer a variety of paper stocks from traditional photographic, to textured fine art and silky smooth matte pages. There are also lots of beautiful leather cover options from very traditional to gorgeous contemporary metallics.

Working with byLumiere was one of the best decisions we made. Their professionalism is second to none and they knew exactly what we wanted from our first meeting with them. Naturally, you’re nervous on your wedding day but they guided us through the whole day and made us feel at ease. They captured some incredible moments with quality pictures and videos & even created some amazing silhouettes and slow-mo videos which we weren’t expecting. What is the difference between the teams?
Kate and Brent own byLumiere and have worked with Mark & Elizabeth for years.

Head Chefs (Sony European Imaging Ambassadors): Kate and Brent are like the head chefs who have years of experience in crafting exceptional dishes. As Sony European Imaging Ambassadors, we bring a level of expertise and artistry to our photography and cinematography that reflects our extensive years of experience and recognition in the industry. Our services come at a premium because we ensure every moment is captured with the highest level of skill, creativity, and professionalism.
Trained Sous Chefs (Our Team): Mark & Elizebeth who work with us are like skilled sous chefs who have been meticulously trained for years under our guidance. They are very capable and deliver high-quality results, reflecting the standards we uphold. They offer an excellent and reliable service, capturing your special day beautifully. We offer their services at a more affordable price point, making professional wedding photography and cinematography accessible while still maintaining high standards of quality and creativity.
In both cases, you’re guaranteed a delightful experience, but the level of expertise and technical ability Kate and Brent bring as ‘head chefs’ is what differentiates the offering.
How would you describe your style?
There are many, many labels used for wedding photography and films and we describe our signature style as fine art storytelling – which means we work hard to capture natural emotion and human connection in a beautiful and artistic way. We want to tell the whole story of your day but also provide some beautiful stand alone images and moments that are timeless. We work alongside other exceptional wedding suppliers and offer luxury and destination wedding films and photography.
What venues are you preferred suppliers for?
We are prepared suppliers for the following venues:

Are you fully insured?
Absolutely – we have professional indemnity insurance along with public liability insurance. We also carry a full backup of professional equipment.
How much do you direct/pose your clients?
We believe in a collaborative approach and how much we direct varies from shoot to shoot. We are as comfortable working with shy, self-conscious adults and children as we are with experienced models. We promise to get the best out of you in a relaxed and effortless way.
Do you have a license for your drone work?
byLumiere has the CAA GVC to fly drones commercially with full insurance.
Do you only work within the UK?
We have worked all over the World and are always happy to travel. As a team of 4 we also only ever require 2 rooms as we are married couples.
What if we are planning a large wedding and need a larger production team?
We have a network of trusted photographers and cinematographers that we have worked with before and can, with sufficient notice, build a team according to the requirements of the brief.
Do we sign a contract?
Yes we have a contract that we will sign copies of via your very own dedicated client portal – the contract has been legally approved by a UK solicitor.
Should we book an engagement shoot?
Some couples really want to experience what it’s like being in front of my camera before the wedding day. If you do decide to book a shoot then we suggest we make a plan to do something fun and different. Location is very important to the final photos so we can chat about the kind of styling you would like. The imagery is always different to your wedding day and some couples have used their engagement images for wedding stationery, guest books and signing boards.
Print Res Vs Screen Res?
Why do we give you 2 versions of your wedding images – print and screen resolution?
Digital images are measured in pixels per inch, or ppi, which is similar to but not quite the same as dpi in printing. Most computer monitor displays are 72 ppi which is very low resolution compared to print. Most digital images look great on your monitor and 72 ppi images will be a smaller file size and load faster than a 300 ppi image. So We provide you with the images in screen resolution – perfect for sharing via email and displaying on any screen.
When it comes to printing the dpi refers to the amount of ink printed on paper. The more ink, the higher the resolution. 300 dots per inch is the standard for quality printing. When we provide your images in high resolution at 300 ppi they will be very large file sizes so should only be used for photographs you want to print. If you try and print the 72ppi version the print will literally pixelate and look blurry.
Can you provide prints for the guests?
After the wedding, we will send you a link to a password-protected online gallery that you can share with your guests (or we can create a separate gallery with the images of your choice). The gallery links directly to an online professional print lab where people can order individual prints that will be delivered directly.
How do we book you?
We always like to talk with our couples and get to know each other a little – often on Zoom these days. We are interested in your story – how you met, the proposal, the venue, the details. The truth is we love weddings. If you decide to work with us we ask for a completed and signed contract and a non-refundable booking fee of 20% which can be paid by bank transfer or credit card (with a card transaction fee). Unfortunately, we can’t hold dates without the form and fee because in peak season we often have many enquiries for the same day. The balance will be due one month before your wedding date.
Have you covered same sex or multicultural weddings?
Absolutely yes. As well as a number of same-sex and multicultural weddings we also have experience with Jewish and Asian ceremonies.
